Dr. Sammarco completed his undergraduate degree in psychology from Fairfield University in Connecticut. He then went on to Fairleigh Dickinson University School of Dentistry where he completed his dental degree, followed by an internship at New York Medical College at Metropolitan Hospital. Dr. Sammarco also completed an additional two years of comprehensive dentistry study at the University of Florida School of Dentistry.

A commitment to continuing dental education is a cornerstone of Dr. Sammarco’s dentistry practice. He regularly updates his skills through courses and seminars in order to bring the best in new services to his patients, and he holds membership in numerous prestigious professional organizations, including the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, and the American Academy of Comprehensive Dentistry, to name just a handful.

In addition, Dr. Sammarco has an impressive list of accomplishments to his name. Among these, he has authored chapters on AIDS in dentistry, published in “A Guide to Rehabilitation” by Matthew Benter and Company (1993), and he lectures extensively on the subject of cosmetic dentistry. He is also on the Florida Board of Dental Examiners, the state agency responsible for regulating and licensing dentists within the state, and has been selected by his dental peers as a fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry, an honor reserved for just 10 percent of the academy’s total membership.
